“BISHOP JENKY MEETS POPE FRANCIS”
Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, C.S.C. of the Catholic Diocese of Peoria attended the winter meeting of the University of Notre Dame Board of Trustees and other diocesan business in Rome, Italy. Bishop Jenky is a member of the ND Board of Trustees and a Fellow.

Bishop Jenky had the opportunity to meet Pope Francis at the annual Papal Audience on January 29, 2014 and then again on January 30, 2014 with the University of Notre Dame Trustees. Bishop Jenky was the main presider at the Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica at the Altar of the Chair of St. Peter.
